Silhouette

Haiku #1 "Twilight"
‘tis now the gloaming
branches stand in silhouette
sombre fears embraced

Haiku #2 "MS"
synapse signals cut
lurking in shadowed contours
the beast stalks it’s prey

The prompt for this week's Haiku Wednesday is "silhouette". The haiku needs to be related to it, or include the actual word in it

  4. The gloaming ... one of my favorite words ... it seems to pulsate just from the memory of what it describes. I love this many-layered poem.

  5. Two beautiful and thought provoking haiku. Seemingly unrelated, unless you understand the dynamics of living with the fear and havoc that MS ensues. Well done.
