oh my so good
ReplyDeleteand oh my that thing is scary looking
Very true Karen. Such mushroom like flowers on the forest floors are often poisonous and emit a foul smell. Very opposite of what a flower should be. Your haiku are classic. Fantastic choice of words!

Wow. Photos and words - both excellent. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one a lot more.. maybe its the way it ended, "whimsical delight".. it leaves a mark. Something to remember after reading!
ReplyDeleteNice composition indeed:)
ReplyDeleteVery true - looks both pretty and evil.
ReplyDeleteSuch a perfectly crafted haiku, it is. You took the prompt very well Karen. =)

ReplyDeleteGreat Haikus descriptive of the crimson thing....
ReplyDeleteNice contrasting images ~ Lovely set ~
ReplyDeleteNicely done! Both of them! :)
ReplyDeleteI love both of these together. They tell the story of 'crimson warning'. Great job!
ReplyDeleteunique and lovely shot,
ReplyDeleteloved the haiku following it.
Can something poisonous also be whimsical? Surely I will need to ponder that conundrum.
