Silhouette

Haiku #1 "Twilight"
‘tis now the gloaming
branches stand in silhouette
sombre fears embraced
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Haiku #2 "MS"
synapse signals cut
lurking in shadowed contours
the beast stalks it’s prey
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

    The gloaming ... one of my favorite words ... it seems to pulsate just from the memory of what it describes. I love this many-layered poem.

    Two beautiful and thought provoking haiku. Seemingly unrelated, unless you understand the dynamics of living with the fear and havoc that MS ensues. Well done.
