Sensational Haiku Wednesday
Prompt - fortitude
Prompt - fortitude
stairs lead to the beach
confidence high, stepping down
a simple descent
ascent difficult
grasping the handrail tightly
fall, more times than not
wavering often
labouring to reach the top
small victory won

The average person reading this, may not quite get it. What does going up and down a set of simple stairs have to do with fortitude? Everything, for anyone disabled by chronic disease...in my case -Multiple Sclerosis.

Sand, shadows and steps. We all have steps we must climb, in one fashion or another, you capture this well. And those steps look pretty darn steep.
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to take for granted the simple things in life -- and it can be frustrating for those on the end of having difficulty traversing once simple tasks. Well done! Blessings to you ~~
ReplyDeleteYES!
ReplyDeleteYou've managed again, Karen, to take your truth and turn it into not only a bit of written art, but also a lesson for all. So well done!
