ReplyDeleteVivid images. I've stared at the haiku trying to discern meaning. A lot is suggested. More is left unsaid. It's almost like a zen koan.

ReplyDeleteI think often, haiku is a lot like a riddle. Understanding the meaning, requires the reader to figure it out. Then again - this haiku may be nothing more than a Zen moment. I can tell you what inspired me to write these words, and what it means to me, but really, I wrote with my heart and little logic.
I appreciate the time you take to read and ponder my poems. Thanks for that, and for encouraging, and supporting this latest endeavour.
