once fresh wholesome food
processed parcels for purchase
wear pretty wrappers

choices abundant
manufactured sustenance
quality devoid

higher standards sought
detour past pop art pantries
in search of real fare

  1. Oh the lure of fast food .. your haiku triptych reminds us buying/eating/cooking 'fresh' is best.

  2. Have my "own" version of fastfood - making bigger portions and freeze them down for a day you either have less tim or no energy to cook.

  4. An interesting form. A continual flow of thought, yet each haiku can stand on it's own, A very clever reference to Warhol, with "pop art pantries". Well done, once again.

  5. Great poem. I so prefer fresh over processed, but could someone else cook it please? Wait, that's what they do with processed food. And I can't go out to a restaurant every day. Oh, maybe I'll go the raw food route. Wait, except for greens and fruit I don't like raw food. Don't like cooking either. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
