Night Wish

I’ve come to gaze upon a star,
and wish you back to me.
                                                    All pain has been forgotten.

                                                    The wounds have healed,
                                                    the heart repaired.
                                                    My arms are open wide.

I’ll wrap you tight in love’s caress,
                                                    until we greet the dawn.
Then I'll have to let you go.

  1. Not a haiku! Nice form, it flows well, and an amazing photo. Be careful what you wish for ;)

  4. Paradoxically, letting go is also a form of welcoming.

  13. You've actually made "relationship relapse" sound attractive! I suppose it is at the moment it occurs.
    Well done!
