Elusive

hidden in shadows
elusive truths lie in wait
on the quest for light

on the quest for light
paths to follow may deceive.
wrinkles in the soul

wrinkles in the soul
smoothed by promise of belief
hidden in shadows

  4. It's true. Sometimes, we never know where truth might lead us, especially if truths are really lies in disguise.

  11. Shadows and light. Life is a dance amid dappled light. Sometimes one lands on shadows; sometimes, on light.

  14. Oh Karen this is exquisite...the rhythm of your poem and the rhythm of shadow and light across the road are in synchronicity...this makes me think of a zen koan...elusive circles the mind spins trying to understand what is beyond comprehension.

It would be funny to find one of us is lurking in the background of the pictures we took on Kangaroo Island ten years ago! We should check!
