forest floor brilliance
a glimpse of crimson glory
whimsical delight
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~
in crimson it screams
this warning must be heeded
poison lurks within

  4. Very true Karen. Such mushroom like flowers on the forest floors are often poisonous and emit a foul smell. Very opposite of what a flower should be. Your haiku are classic. Fantastic choice of words!

  16. Nice contrast of the same gift of nature ... I haven't learn to tell which mushrooms are poisonous!! I do enjoy looking at them ... and always surprised to see them!!
